GOLDEN CLOVE THERAPY
How I Work
Somatic
I am a somatic ("whole-being") practitioner, experientially engaging with body sensations, memories, thoughts, emotions, and realms beyond what we can touch. Somatic therapy allows people to transform trauma and stuck patterns into lasting change--and to (re)discover wise intimacy through the body.

I am also trained in bodywork (in the lineage of cranio-sacral therapy) as a therapeutic tool to heal developmental trauma.
Relational
I root in authentic connection: exploring patterns in relationships by being with what comes up in the moment. Realness, love, creativity, and a sense of humor are essential to my therapy style.
Liberation-Oriented
I am an abolitionist therapist. I fulfill my legal duties as a mandated reporter by building holistic, sustainable systems of safety and care with my clients--not by calling the cops on them.

I work with folks to unlearn stories of worthlessness inherited from our dominant culture. I support people, humbly and without judgment, in reclaiming their own wholeness--and in feeling the connections between their struggles and the struggles of other earthly beings. Therapy, to me, is one form of liberation work--always evolving, rich, deep, and holy.

Therapy is, also, not enough! I see this kind of healing work as one of many tools of transformation for our broken, violent world. I join my clients in solidarity around grief and rage
--and in building all kinds of possibilities for radical thriving under fascism.

The moment we choose to love,
we begin to move toward freedom"
